However, if the temperature is too high, it will affect the growth of cucumber. When the greenhouse temperature reached 38 °C, the photosynthetic efficiency of the plants was the highest, but the plant growth was affected when the temperature was over 40 °C. The wilting symptoms were observed when the plants were over 40 °C for a long time. It can be seen that "high temperature for melon" is not the better the temperature. Therefore, in management, the temperature in the shed should be changed to 38°C. Ventilation should be carried out in the shed to a temperature of 35°C. It should not be ventilated until the temperature is too high.

It is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that in addition to controlling the temperature in the shed, “high-temperature melons” must also maintain high humidity and sufficient carbon dioxide. When carrying out the “high temperature for melon”, appropriate ventilation should be carried out under the premise of ensuring proper temperature. When the contradiction between heat preservation and ventilation cannot be solved, carbon dioxide gas fertilizer can be used to solve the problem.
