Ground Source Heat Pump Technology and Application

A heat pump is a device that transfers a low-temperature heat source to a high-temperature heat source. The low-temperature heat source medium typically used in heat pump devices is a medium discharged from groundwater, air, and industrial production equipment. A ground source heat pump is a heat pump air-conditioning technology that uses soil as a low-temperature heat source. It utilizes the characteristics of relatively stable soil temperature, relies on a small amount of electric power to drive a compressor, exchanges heat through a closed loop pipeline system for deep soil, and releases heat to the underground in summer. In the winter, heat is absorbed from the underground to achieve cooling or heating requirements. It has the advantages of energy saving, high efficiency, and environmental protection that cannot be matched by traditional air-conditioning systems. It is an advanced technology that adapts to a conservation-oriented society and circular economy. Ground source heat pump is widely used abroad, especially in Europe. Our country is applying more and more quickly in the cold, hot and cold air-conditioners in production workshops, office areas and living quarters.
