Rapid identification of commonly used feed additives

Vitamin A is visually light brown or grayish yellow. The sample was taken as 0.1 g, wetted with absolute ethyl alcohol to dissolve it, 10 ml of chloroform was added, and 0.5 ml of a solution of antimony trichloride in chloroform was added. The solution was blue in color and immediately faded, and was the genuine product.

Vitamin E powder looks white or light yellow powder. Take a sample of 15 mg, add 10 ml of anhydrous ethanol to dissolve it, add 2 ml of nitric acid, shake and heat for 15 minutes, and the solution is orange-red.

Sodium selenite vitamin E powder appearance is white or almost white powder, take a sample of 0.5 grams, add 30 drops of ethanol, shake the filter, add 5 drops of nitric acid in the filter, heating into a red square for the authentic.

Vitamin K3 looks white or gray tan crystalline powder. Take 0.1 g of sample, add 10 ml of water to dissolve, and add 3 ml of sodium carbonate solution.

Vitamin B1 looks white crystalline or crystalline powder, slightly odor, slightly bitter. Take a sample of 0.1g, add a little water and shake, filter, add 3 drops of iodine reagent in the filtrate, brown red precipitate.

The appearance of vitamin B2 is yellow to orange-yellow crystalline powder with bitter odor. Take a sample of 0.5 g, add a little water to dissolve, and extract the supernatant. Add 2 drops of dilute hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide solution. The yellow fluorescence in the supernatant disappears.

Take 0.1 g sample of ferrous sulfate and dissolve it in 10 ml of water. Add 2 drops to 3 drops of 10% iron potassium chloride solution to produce a dark blue precipitate. Add a few drops of diluted hydrochloric acid. The precipitate will not dissolve into the authentic product.
