The product was installed at Shanghai Proton Heavy Ion Hospital (Proton Heavy Ion Center, Fudan University Affiliated Tumor Hospital), Address: 4365 Kangxin Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. This is the first proton carbon ion treatment device approved by the State Food and Drug Administration. The device consists of an accelerator, a treatment room, and an X-ray computed tomography device; including low energy beam transmission, linear accelerator, medium energy beam transmission, synchrotron, high energy beam transmission, accelerator assist system, gas monitoring system, beam current Application and monitoring systems, safety therapy control systems, treatment room controls, placement verification systems, patient treatment beds, laser systems, conveyor systems, planning and delivery software and hardware, X-ray computed tomography equipment and other subsystems. This product provides proton beam or carbon ion beam for radiation therapy, suitable for the treatment of systemic solid malignancies and some benign diseases.
The user should strictly use the product according to the applicable scope of product approval, and should strictly abide by the medical and health regulations of the health and family planning department.
The food and drug supervision and administration department will strengthen the supervision of products after listing and protect the safety of patients.
