Prevention of mushroom virus disease

Virus disease is one of the most important diseases on Pleurotus ostreatus, and it occurs widely throughout the country. Pleurotus ostreatus had no obvious symptoms after infection with the virus, but the growth rate slowed down and the colony edges were not neat. By the time of fruiting, the infected fruit-body stems swelled in a nearly spherical or flask-like shape, leaving no caps or small caps; some streaks flattened or curved, uneven surfaces or knobs, and caps. Small deformity, deep lacking and wavy; some of the cap and stipe on the streaky or streaks. To prevent Pleurotus ostreatus virus disease, the following measures can be taken: (1) Use virus-free strains and strictly shut down the good mothers. All growth abnormalities, especially the mother species with unclean mycelium, should be eliminated. The original species and growth species should be inspected regularly during the cultivation period. All mycelium nicks or plaques must be firmly eliminated. (2) Mushrooms, culture rooms, and inoculation tools should be strictly disinfected. (3) Pleurotus eryngii bags infected with virus diseases should be isolated and burned. After the end of production, the diseased mushroom house is strictly sterilized, and the mushroom bed frame is disassembled and cleaned to prevent spores and hyphae carrying the virus from being lurking in the frame joints.
