Conservation of African Jasmine

African jasmine is a small evergreen shrub of the genus Grey, native to China and Southeast Asia. In the summer, it is necessary to spray water on the leaves to increase the temperature and humidity, and to reduce the watering in the winter. During the growing season, topdressing nitrogen fertilizer once a month can add 0.2% of ferrous sulfate; appropriate application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer before flowering.

The diseases of African jasmine mainly include anthrax and sunburn. Anthracnose mainly occurs on tender shoots and leaves. There are sub-circular depression spots with brown edges and grayish-brown to neutral gray. It can be sprayed with chlorothalonil or carbon tetrachloride wettable powder to control. Sunburn is characterized by grayish burn spots on young shoots or young leaves. Care should be taken to shade the plants so as to reduce the damage. At the same time, water more or spray water at the leaves. The diseased leaves should be removed promptly.
