Dairy edible oils will be included in food safety assessment

Xinhua News reporter learned yesterday from the Food and Drug Administration that the next 21 projects will be listed as annual food safety risk assessment project. These projects include recent food safety hot spots including residues of estrogenic dairy products, pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables.

It is understood that the 21 newly established risk assessment projects are based on the wide collection of food safety regulatory agencies, universities, research institutes and industry associations risk assessment project recommendations based on the municipal food safety risk assessment expert committee project review. Estrogenic residues of dairy products, residues of pesticides in fruits and vegetables, and safety of catering oils are all included. The involved foods include freshwater cultured fish, freshwater crabs, poultry meat, dairy products, tea drinks, fruits and vegetables, rice, wine, etc. Pupils lead intake, students lunch nutrients.
