Whole grain foods help lower blood sugar

According to a study published in the American Journal of Public Health, Whole Grain Foods has preventive protection against diabetes.

The researchers explained that because of the lower blood sugar levels produced by eating whole grains, the body does not need to produce more insulin to treat food. The refined cereals can cause blood sugar levels to double and the body secretes more insulin. In addition, vitamins and nutrients contained in whole grain foods are also important in reducing the risk of diabetes.

A team of Harvard Medical School researchers conducted a 10-year follow-up of 75,000 women aged 38 to 63. At the beginning of the study, none of the subjects had diabetes or heart disease. After 10 years, the statistical results show that women who eat the most food in whole grain can reduce the risk of diabetes by 38%.
